Sociology dictates that since Filipinos aim been subjected to three colonizers (Spanish, Americans and Japanese) they are by nature patient, enduring and industrious. Thus, doing menial jobs are sacrifices they are willing to make just to alleviate their families flowing economic status (Manalansan, 2003).
