Laurie Halse Andersons story, Speak, portrays umteen diverse causes that set up different personalities. The main character, Melinda Sordino, is shown to be isolated and disliked as she enters mellow school. Andy is to a greater outcome well-known and popular in high school than Melinda is, apparently his actions of abusing another student create the same flaws as Melinda. He hides his true self that he is ashamed of, or panic-stricken of, and on the outside, he does mischievous things. This shows how reticent he is, but...
